FRANKFURT, Nov. 11, 2016 – King & Spalding has acted for two leading international real estate investors – Tishman Speyer and Barings Real Estate Advisers – on separate deals involving the acquisition of prime real estate assets in the German capital of Berlin.
Tishman Speyer purchased the Pressehaus on Berlin's Alexanderplatz from the Value-add Fonds European Real Estate Ventures VII. The vendor of the building, which has a total renting space of 27,500 square metres, is the media company Bertelsmann.
Barings Real Estate Advisers, meanwhile, purchased the 10,000-square metre Berliner Volksbank base at Budapester Strasse 35 from a real estate fund.
King & Spalding’s Frankfurt real estate team represented Tishman Speyer and Barings Real Estate Advisers on the respective deals.
