William (Bill) Sauers represents clients on high-stakes environmental matters, investigations, and technical matters. As a partner in our Environmental, Health and Safety practice, Bill represents clients in a wide range of environmental enforcement, litigation, and compliance matters. He also represents clients in complex litigation and counseling matters regarding trade secret, trademark, patent and copyright matters.
His recent environmental matters include representation of several auto manufacturers in enforcement matters related to compliance with the Clean Air Act and related regulations before the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the California Air Resources Board (CARB), the Department of Justice (DOJ), and other federal and state agencies.
In addition to extensive IP litigation and trial experience, Bill also advises clients on developing and protecting IP portfolios, including the identification, protection, licensing and enforcement of trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.
