Taeyeong Kim is an associate in the Finance & Restructuring practice group and is a member of the firm’s Private Credit & Special Situations team. His practice focuses on representing both creditor and debtor clients in financial restructuring, bankruptcy and other insolvency related matters, specializing in chapter 11 cases. He has experience advising across several industry sectors including aviation, crypto, financial services, health care, real estate, restaurants, retail and infrastructure.

Taeyeong received his Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Chung-Ang University in Seoul, South Korea. He received his Juris Doctor, with honors, from Emory University School of Law where he served as Managing Editor for the Emory Bankruptcy and Developments Journal and Vice President for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
