Steve Zavodnick Jr. is an associate in the Private Funds and Real Estate practices at King & Spalding. Steve's practice is focused on the representation of owner-operators, asset managers, and institutional investors in the formation, organization and operation of various types of real estate investment vehicles, including closed-end and open-end funds, qualified opportunity funds, and programmatic, portfolio and asset level joint ventures. Steve also has experience in other aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, development, construction, leasing, and financing and refinancing. 

In law school, Steve served as an Article Editor of the Georgia Law Review, and his article titled If You (Pay to) Build It, They Will Come: Rethinking Publicly-Financed Professional Sports Stadiums After the Atlanta Braves Deal with Cobb County was published at 53 Ga. L. Rev. 407.  Steve was also a member of the University of Georgia School of Law's business negotiations team that was named national champions at the 2017 Transactional LawMeet.
