Michael Nunnally devotes his practice to assisting corporate clients of all sizes with diverse intellectual property needs. Michael performs intellectual property diligence for corporate transactions, prepares and files patent and trademark applications, responds to USPTO office actions, drafts IP agreements, and otherwise assists clients with various aspects of their intellectual property portfolios.
Michael practices in all areas of intellectual property law, including intellectual property transactions, patent and trademark prosecution, patent and trademark litigation, and copyright matters. Michael counsels clients in a variety of industries including machine learning and artificial intelligence, chemical, and life sciences.
Prior to joining the firm, Michael interned with the United States Attorney's Office - Middle District of Alabama, and with the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. His litigation experience, coupled with his technical knowledge and practice, allows him to effectively advance and protect his clients' intellectual property rights.
Michael graduated cum laude from the University Of Georgia in 2019, where he was a member of the Georgia Law Review and President of the Intellectual Property Law Society. Prior to attending law school, Michael graduated from Auburn University in 2014 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and worked as a Design Engineer for several years.
