Maren C. Perry is an attorney in the Intellectual Property, Patent, Trademark and Copyright Litigation practice in King & Spalding’s New York office. She represents a wide range of clients in all aspects of trademark, unfair competition and copyright law.
Maren practices primarily in the areas of trademark counseling, prosecution, diligence, licensing, assignments and litigation, both domestic and foreign. She counsels on the clearance, application and protection of foreign trademarks, as well as the search and clearance of domestic trademarks and prosecution and maintenance of trademark applications and registrations with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Maren also advises clients on the management of intellectual property portfolios, on monitoring the marketplace for potential infringements and on trademark oppositions and cancellation actions. Her experience extends to a wide range of industries including luxury goods, cosmetics, media and entertainment.
Prior to joining King & Spalding, Maren was a Senior Associate at Leason Ellis LLP and an Associate at the intellectual property firm of Morgan & Finnegan LLP. Maren is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and the New York International Property Law Association (NYIPLA).
