Kevin Hynes is a trial attorney who focuses on complex, high profile, and high risk mass tort and product liability disputes for clients in the consumer product, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. He is known for his ability to communicate difficult scientific and medical concepts in clear and comprehensible terms.  Over the course of his career, Kevin has tried and won cases for clients including The Dow Chemical Company and Johnson & Johnson in some of the most difficult jurisdictions in the United States. 

In addition to Kevin's work as trial counsel, he also serves as national coordinating counsel in several matters, including for the Dow Chemical Company's wholly owned subsidiary, Union Carbide, in relation to its substantial asbestos docket as well as for Johnson & Johnson in its high-profile talc docket in which the company faces allegations that its talcum powder products cause cancer.  In each matter, Kevin directs case work up and strategy at all stages of litigation, with a particular focus on developing and coordinating scientific and medical defenses.  Given his extensive experience in this area, Kevin understands the risks posed to companies involved in such disputes and can efficiently and carefully guide his clients towards the best possible results.

AT&T Corp., et al., Super. Ct. Cal., L.A. Cnty., Case No. BC646315).
