Kasia Thevissen advises and represents private fund sponsors, including advising on establishment, structuring, and ongoing operational matters across a range of asset classes such as private credit (including structured credit, credit opportunities, dislocation and direct lending), private equity and venture capital.
In addition to fund structuring, Kasia advises UK and multi-jurisdictional sponsors in connection with the structuring of their management arrangements and carried interest schemes.
Kasia also regularly represents fund allocators including sovereign wealth funds, pension plans and family offices across a number of strategies (including infrastructure, real estate, private equity, credit and hybrid funds) in respect of allocations to private investment funds, co-investments, secondary transactions and direct bespoke investment programs with sponsors.
