NEW YORK, March 31, 2025 – King & Spalding announced today that Jordan Sagalowsky has joined the firm’s Product Liability and Mass Torts practice group as a partner in its New York office.
Sagalowsky represents clients in complex proceedings involving environmental mass torts, products liability claims, structured finance, and securities and lender liability disputes. He also advises clients on risk mitigation issues. His environmental mass tort and products liability experience includes hundreds of cases concerning alleged water contamination (PFAS), property damage and personal injuries arising out of legacy chemical businesses. Sagalowsky has particular experience conducting fact and expert discovery, including deposing expert witnesses and preparing and defending client witnesses.
“Jordan has a wealth of experience overseeing the scientific and technical aspects of environmental cases, including developing, presenting, and deposing expert witnesses and assisting our clients in communicating complex scientific topics to jurors. This expertise is highly valuable for our toxic tort work on behalf of clients across numerous industries,” said Tracie Renfroe, co-leader of the firm’s Product Liability and Mass Torts practice group. “Adding Jordan to our team helps us continue to increase our tort presence in New York while also strengthening our science and company case teams.”
Sagalowsky joins King & Spalding from Mayer Brown, where he was a partner. He received his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his A.B. from Harvard University.
“I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside King & Spalding lawyers for years, and I’m excited to now have the opportunity to collaborate with them as colleagues,” said Sagalowsky. “King & Spalding is committed to the growth of its Product Liability and Mass Torts practice, including in the emerging contaminants and plastics and microplastics space, and the size, scope and success of the firm’s practice underscores the depth of that commitment.”
