King & Spalding advises Lake Charles on its EPC Agreement with KTJV for the Lake Charles LNG Project


King & Spalding advised Lake Charles LNG Export Company, LLC (Lake Charles), a subsidiary of Energy Transfer LP (NYSE: ET), in its contract with KTJV LLC (a joint venture of Kellogg Brown & Root LLC and Technip Energies USA, Inc.) for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the Lake Charles LNG Project located in Lake Charles, Louisiana on the Calcasieu ship channel. The project will convert an existing LNG import and regasification facility into an LNG export facility consisting of three (3) liquefaction units (each having an aggregate nominal LNG production capacity of approximately 5.5 million metric tonnes per annum).  

Energy Transfer LP is one of America’s largest and most diversified midstream service providers, delivering logistics and transportation platforms for natural gas, natural gas liquids, crude oil and refined products.
