Dirk Lasater and Drew Pollekoff to Speak at Virginia Innovation Commercialization Assistance Program

Northern Virginia Technology Transactions and Sourcing associate Dirk Lasater and Corporate senior associate Drew Pollekoff will speak to a cohort of Virginia-based technology and innovation-driven emerging companies curated by the Virginia Innovation Commercialization Assistance Program on Oct. 26. The presentation is titled “Intellectual Property Protection and Corporate Organizational Strategies for Emerging Technology Companies.” The panel will discuss what early-stage companies should consider when developing technology, how to protect intellectual property generated by such efforts, and how to organize an emerging company to maximize value and minimize friction in financing rounds.
