Dirk Lasater and Bea Hinton to Speak at the Association of Corporate Counsel National Membership

Technology Transactions and Sourcing senior associate Dirk Lasater (Northern Virginia) and Corporate, Finance, and Investment senior associate Bea Hinton (Atlanta) will speak at the National Membership of the Association of Corporate Counsel on April 17. Dirk and Bea will participate in a panel discussion titled “Understanding the SaaS Deal: What if Something Goes Wrong.” with outside presenters Michael Booden, senior technology counsel at HUB International and Jacob Kojfman, Senior Legal Counsel at Co-operators. The panel is the third and final part of a three-part national master class partnership between K&S and the ACC that guides vendors and customers in negotiating and navigating disputes arising from SaaS agreements. The panel focuses on practical strategies for navigating warranty issues, limitations of liability, indemnities, and other risk shifting issues.
