Yelena is a partner in the Special Matters and Investigations practice in the New York office of King & Spalding. Yelena focuses on white-collar criminal defense litigation, internal and government investigations, corporate compliance, congressional investigations and regulatory matters. Yelena has represented corporations and individuals in a wide array of matters, including the False Claims Act; the Anti-Kickback Statute; the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and criminal sanctions. She works with clients facing government investigations conducted by various divisions of the Department of Justice, the U.S. Attorneys' Offices, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and various state agencies and state attorneys general.
Yelena received her J.D. (cum laude) from Fordham University School of Law in 2013, where she served as Articles and Notes Editor of the Fordham Law Review, and as Associate Editor on the Fordham Moot Court Board. While at Fordham, Ms. Kotlarsky served as a summer intern for the Hon. Sherry Klein Heitler, Administrative Judge, Supreme Court, New York County.
