Dr. Vineet Hegde is an associate with King & Spalding's Government Matters practice and a member of the firm's International Trade team. Vineet advises on EU and international trade law, including trade remedies, customs, origin, compliance, market access, and regulatory barriers. He regularly represents clients before investigating authorities in the context of trade remedies.

Vineet has advised clients in several anti-dumping, anti-subsidy, and safeguard investigations in the EU, the UK, and third countries. His assistance covers complaints, investigations, and reviews, including expiry and circumvention reviews.

Vineet is qualified to practice law in India and is a registered foreign lawyer in Brussels. He has previously worked at the Embassy of India in Washington, DC, advising the Government of India on India-U.S. bilateral trade relations.

During his doctoral studies, Vineet coached KU Leuven's WTO moot court teams, which emerged as runners-up in the world rounds for three consecutive years (2019-2020, 2020-2021, and 2021-2022). Vineet regularly publishes on international trade, and his works have in the Journal of International Economic Law and the Cambridge International Law Journal. He was awarded the 2019-2020 Society of International Economic Law/Journal of International Economic Law/Oxford University Press Essay Prize for his research on transnational subsidies.
