Stevin George focuses his practice on technology transactions and sourcing.  He counsels clients on: (1) software, hosting, and cloud service licensing; (2) licensing, manufacturing, and distribution networks for consumer hardware; and (3) complex procurement of technology and services.  Stevin draws on his extensive experience working directly with engineers, business stakeholders, and leadership to provide practical advice for clients.  As a secondee to numerous AI/ML and product verticals at Fortune 30 technology companies, he is skilled at providing cutting-edge advice to help clients scale, develop, and address pressing challenges.

Admitted to practice only in Washington, DC, Washington, Texas and Wisconsin.  Stevin's practice is directly supervised by principals of the firm.

In particular, Stevin has supported 100+ product launches (especially in AI and ML) from the ideation stage to commercialization and general availability, as well as day-to-day operational issues, and managed leadership, project, and corporate development teams across entire enterprise and consumer product lifecycles.  As a technology attorney with deep expertise in AI development, he drafts and negotiates agreements related to: (1) licensing and use of generative tools; (2) dataset acquisition and use; (3) model packaging; (4) commercialization; (5) validation, accuracy, and anti-bias; and (6) governance and regulatory compliance.

His extensive secondment experience with the largest technology companies in the world includes the following: (1) a leading provider of on-demand cloud computing services; (2) a top multinational software maker that is a market leader in internet services, enterprise solutions, and cloud computing; and (3) one of the largest American information technology companies, with interests across social media, digital advertising, consumer devices, and AI development.
