Sergio “Alex” Galvan is a trial lawyer who prides himself on coming up with creative strategies and solutions for clients not only at trial, but also during discovery and motions practice. Alex’s significant products liability experience has given him the opportunity to represent clients in a variety of arenas such as tobacco, juvenile products, consumer goods, and construction materials.
Alex has represented clients in state & federal courts across the country, including Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. He has experience in all aspects of pre-trial investigation, discovery, taking depositions, motions practice, mediation, witness preparation, and cross-examining witnesses during trial. He also has significant experience managing high-volume litigation for a variety of clients in multiple jurisdictions, including developing global, consistent discovery strategies and managing costs by effectively and efficiently blending client teams to include non-lawyer staff and outside vendors when possible.
Outside of the products liability field, Alex also has significant experience representing a national fast-food chain in Title VII, FLSA, and other employment law claims across a variety of jurisdictions.
Regardless of the client, industry, or jurisdiction, Alex strives to bring creativity and outside-the-box thinking to all aspects of case management and trial practice in order to achieve the best possible results for his clients.
Alex is involved in the both LGBTQ+ and Latinx organizations in the Atlanta area. He works with various organizations whose goal is equality and opportunity for the communities they represent. He is also actively involved in the Georgia State College of Law mock trial program and serves as one of the program's coaches.
In his free time, Alex is an enthusiastic chef, amateur mixologist, and budding gardener.
