Sarah Nelson is an associate on the Special Matters and Government Investigations team in the Atlanta office. Her practice focuses on government and internal investigations, securities enforcement and regulation, compliance counseling, and complex commercial disputes in federal and state court.
Sarah previously clerked for the Honorable William M. Ray, II of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. She graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she served as a member of the Georgia Law Review's Editorial Board, the Lumpkin Inn of Court, and the Appellate Litigation Clinic. As part of her work with the Appellate Litigation Clinic, Sarah argued before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in a case involving issues of asylum, withholding of removal and relief under the Convention Against Torture. Upon graduation, Sarah was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
