Sam Newmier is an associate in King & Spalding’s Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm’s Special Matters and Government Investigations practice. His practice primarily focuses on government investigations and internal investigations.
Sam graduated from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2024, where he served as an Articles Editor on the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. Prior to joining King & Spalding, Sam interned with the Department of Homeland Security’s Human Rights Violator Law Division. He earned his B.A. in Criminology & Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland-College Park in 2020.
