Bobby Hill is a litigator with experience in business, contract, antitrust, qui tam, and oil and gas disputes. He has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal court. His time clerking on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Northern District of Texas imparts insight into how trial and appellate courts work and think.
Prior to joining King & Spalding, Bobby clerked for the Honorable Patrick E. Higginbotham of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and for the Honorable Barbara M. G. Lynn of the Northern District of Texas. In law school, he externed for the Honorable Catharina Haynes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
For the past two years, Bobby has served on the committee that planned the Northern District of Texas Bench Bar Conference, which was attended by over 500 lawyers. He was a Pupil before becoming an Associate of the Higginbotham Inn of Court, which awarded him the Sue Bliss Panda Award given to the outstanding Associate member of the Inn. He is active in the alumni associations of the Dallas private school he attended growing up, the University of Texas, and SMU law.
Bobby is a board member of the non-profit the Young Texans of the American Cancer Society.
Before going to law school, he worked in Belgium and Ukraine selling advertising space in The European Times, before spending over three years at a Dallas-based hedge fund.
He is a fifth-generation Texas lawyer, which imbues a deep, personal connection to the law.
