Represented a Philippine power producer in a SIAC arbitration arising out of a long-term coal supply agreement and shipping documentation. The case settled favorably.

Represented a power producer in a USD 20 million ad hoc arbitration against its insurers for losses arising from the breakdown of a power plant in the Philippines. The case settled favorably.

Represented two Southeast Asian companies in an ICC arbitration in Hong Kong concerning a solar joint venture. The tribunal awarded our clients USD 50 million.

Represented an Asian shipbuilder in a EUR 80 million SIAC arbitration. The tribunal overturned an adverse emergency arbitrator’s order.

Represented an Asian infrastructure company in a USD 500 million SIAC arbitration involving a land reclamation project. The case settled favorably.

Representing Chevron Corporation in a treaty arbitration against the Republic of Ecuador seated in The Hague, concerning the fraudulent USD 9 billion “Lago Agrio” environmental judgment issued by the Ecuadorian courts.

Represented two international oil majors in an ICC arbitration against a Southeast Asian government arising out of a revenue-allocation dispute under a gas service contract. Our clients secured declaratory relief valued at over USD 3 billion.

Represented two infrastructure companies in a SIAC arbitration concerning several infrastructure projects in the Philippines. Our clients secured declaratory relief confirming share ownership in the joint venture.

Represented a Philippine power producer in a USD 80 million shareholder’s dispute concerning a call option. The case settled favorably.
