/ Securities Enforcement and Regulation
Lauren's practice focuses on securities enforcement, anti-corruption investigations, internal investigations, compliance counseling, white-collar criminal defense, and related civil litigation. Lauren represents clients before the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and U.S. Department of Justice, as well as other domestic and international authorities.
Lauren graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center and earned her M.A. and B.A. from the George Washington University. During law school, she was a Managing Editor for the American Criminal Law Review, a member of the Appellate Advocacy Division of Barristers' Council, and a student attorney for the International Women's Human Rights Clinic.
Lauren has interned for the Division of Enforcement and Division of Examinations at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the Money Laundering and Asset Recovery Section at the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maryland, the Honorable Timothy J. Kelly, and the Office of General Counsel at the National Archives and Records Administration.
