Kerrie Dent is counsel in King & Spalding’s Special Matters and Investigations practice in Washington, D.C. She focuses primarily on white collar criminal defense, complex civil litigation and internal investigations.
Kerrie has experience in defending individuals and corporations in prosecutions and investigations by U.S. Attorneys’ Offices, the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Food and Drug Administration and Congress. Her litigation experience spans an array of matters, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and healthcare criminal and civil investigations.
In addition, Kerrie has extensive experience in litigation involving the False Claims Act and the Anti-Kickback Statute. She has handled appellate matters for numerous corporate clients as well as pro bono clients.
Prior to re-joining King & Spalding, Kerrie was a partner at Stein, Mitchell & Muse, where she represented individuals in government investigations, conducted internal investigations, handled commercial litigation and arbitrations, and represented lawyers in a wide range of matters, including disciplinary proceedings before the D.C. Board on Professional Responsibility.
