Josh Mitchell is an appellate specialist with particular expertise in class-action litigation, complex intellectual-property disputes, and consumer-product litigation. As a member of the firm’s national appellate practice, Josh writes appellate briefs and dispositive motions, and offers strategic advice in high-stakes litigation across diverse subject-matter areas.
Before joining King & Spalding, Josh served as a law clerk to the Hon. Ed Carnes, who was then Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Before attending law school, Josh worked as a technical writer in the computer industry for nearly a decade.
Education
Josh earned his law degree, magna cum laude, and an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from the Duke University School of Law. He served as an Executive Editor on the Duke Law Journal.
