John Ryan is a partner in the Finance and Restructuring practice. He has extensive experience in leveraged finance, including secured and unsecured loans and high yield bonds, capital markets, securities, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, restructurings and derivatives.

Prior to joining King & Spalding, John held senior in-house legal positions at GE Capital and Capital One, where he provided counsel to senior management, including as the head of Capital One’s capital markets legal group.
