John Porter joined King & Spalding in 2020 as the Director of Administration for its San Francisco, Silicon Valley, and Sacramento offices. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the human resources, office services, facilities management, finance and secretarial services functions and budgets in his offices.
John has over 20 years of experience working in law firms, and began his career as an IT trainer for McCutchen, Doyle Brown & Enersen. John’s IT career later included roles as an Applications Analyst and IT Manager overseeing IT Service Desk and Desktop Support technicians. John has been a law office administrator since 2013.
John holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Saint Mary’s College of California, and a Master’s in Law Firm Management from George Washington University in Washington, DC.
