Hunter McGhee is an associate with King & Spalding's Special Matters and Government Investigations practice.
Hunter assists clients in navigating internal and government investigations. He has actively represented clients in matters involving the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Department of Agriculture, among others. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional, he also regularly advises clients on data privacy and cybersecurity matters.
Hunter served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas D. Schroeder of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina and to the Honorable Mark J. Bennett of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his law degree from University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he served as an Articles Editor for the California Law Review. Hunter earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University and currently serves as co-chair of Duke's First Generation alumni group.
