Weatherford International plc Acquires Datagration Solutions, Inc.

King & Spalding advised Weatherford International plc (“Weatherford”) in its acquisition of Datagration Solutions, Inc. (“Datagration”), which was primarily owned by two private equity firms and members of Datagration’s management team, an innovator in unified data integration, analytics, and machine learning. The acquisition establishes Weatherford as having one of the industry's most capable and contemporary digital offerings for production and asset optimization and demonstrates its commitment to continuously driving innovation across its technology portfolio. Datagration is a software company that focuses on delivering an open and collaborative ecosystem of domain-specific platforms that create solutions for organizations by aggregating and integrating data from disparate legacy systems, databases, and unstructured documents into a unified cloud-based or on-premise environment. Datagration primarily focuses on implementing their PetroVisor and EcoVisor SaaS-based platforms into a universally accessible system. PetroVisor is a platform designed to integrate and analyze data across various sources for operational and financial decision-making in the energy sector, and EcoVisor is a SaaS platform focused on ESG performance management, offering features like data aggregation, monitoring, analytics, and customizable reporting for energy companies.
