Salome Cisnal de Ugarte to Speak at Brussels’ Competition Law Conference

Antitrust Partner Salome Cisnal de Ugarte will be a featured speaker at “The EU Digital Markets Competition Litigation & Compliance Forum 2025” on March 20, 2025 in Brussels, Belgium. She will participate in a panel of lawyers and economists devoted to discussing the challenges to mergers in the digital markets.

The panel will assess how EU and national merger control rules are interacting with the EU Digital Markets Act (DMA), delve into novel theories of harm in the digital economy, and explore how to balance diverging requirements and remedies from enforcers. The panellists will also assess how national agencies are cooperating with the European Commission after the Illumina/Grail case.
