PFAS Regulatory and Litigation Impacts: What to Expect in 2022

Most of us have heard of PFAS the subject of increasing regulatory scrutiny at both the federal and state levels. Join us for this webinar as we go beyond the hype and headlines to look at the status and trajectory of legislation and regulation in 2022, discuss the milestones set by the EPA’s PFAS road map, and provide some actionable tips for companies to prepare now for the future, including potential litigation. We also will demonstrate the potential impact of these pending regulations by taking a closer look at one industry – cosmetics – and how the proposed Personal Care Products Safety Act will further focus a spotlight on PFAS in relevant products.  Finally, we’ll examine California’s changing Prop 65 guidance to better understand both the implications that California’s regulations may have for other states and some of the most fertile ground for potential litigation.
