Pan American Energy and Golar LNG Sign Agreement for 20-Year FLNG Deployment in Argentina

King & Spalding represented Pan American Energy S.L. (“PAE”) as it entered into definitive agreements with Golar LNG Ltd. (“Golar”) for a 20-year deployment of a floating liquefied natural gas (“FLNG”) vessel off of the coast of Argentina, including a bareboat charter agreement and a gas sales agreement for the supply of feed gas to the FLNG project by PAE. The project is anticipated to commence LNG exports in 2027, with an expected production capacity of 2.45 million tons per annum.
