Nick Paster to Speak at WITA’s “USMCA Review Series: What’s Outstanding?

King & Spalding’s International Trade associate Nick Paster participated in the “USMCA Review Series: What’s Outstanding?” panel hosted by the Washington International Trade Association (“WITA”).

Nick’s panel discussed the use of dispute settlement under the USMCA and unresolved issues under the agreement, including disputes over corn GMOs, dairy, automotive rules of origin, labor, and energy.  Michael Smart, a member of WITA's Board of Directors, moderated the discussion.

His panel featured panelists Rosanety Barrios Beltran, independent energy analyst; John Bode, President & CEO of the Corn Refiners Association; Eric Gottwald, Policy Specialist, Trade and Economic Globalization – AFL-CIO; and Shawna Morris, Executive Vice President, Trade Policy & Global Affairs – National Milk Producers Federation.
