Serving as national coordinating and trial counsel in connection with Union Carbide Corporation’s asbestos docket, which sees an average of more than 12,000 cases filed and 8 to 10 cases tried to verdict each year in state courts across the country.
Representing Beech-Nut Nutrition Company in more than 49 nationwide class actions, personal injury and Attorneys General lawsuits, and government investigations alleging the presence of toxic metals in baby food. We also represent a major retailer in litigation with the same allegation.
Serving as national counsel for a major retailer in a nation-wide litigation involving allegations that retailers of private-labeled acetaminophens failed to warn pregnant mothers about the potential risks to their children of prenatal exposure to the drug. Cases are consolidated in an MDL in the Southern District of New York.
Serving as strategic resolution counsel for Toyota Motor Corporation in the unintended acceleration litigation MDL in the Central District of California in connection with nearly 200 nationwide economic loss class actions involving millions of class members and hundreds of products liability personal injury matters, as well as national discovery counsel in the civil litigation, regulatory agency actions, and state and federal investigations involving packaging on wet/dry vacuums.
Serving as national coordinating and lead trial counsel for GlaxoSmithKline in litigation involving allegations of discontinuation, suicidality, birth defects and autism arising from the use of the prescription antidepressant Paxil®.
Serving as co-national coordinating counsel and lead trial counsel for Purdue Pharma in the long-running mass-tort litigation involving alleged personal injuries from use of the prescription pain medication OxyContin®, successfully defeating hundreds of putative class, mass, and individual actions filed in state and federal courts around the country, including an attempt by plaintiffs to create a federal MDL.
Serving as lead counsel for Equifax in the MDL involving hundreds of consumer and financial institutions class actions filed in the wake of a high-profile 2017 data breach. After more than a year and a half of contentious litigation, we led the negotiation of a class action settlement to resolve the claims of approximately 147 million U.S. consumers.

Representing HSBC in multidistrict class action litigation in the Eastern District of New York brought by merchants and trade associations challenging Interchange fees and various network rules and alleging defendants conspired to impose various competitive restraints to fix at artificially high levels the interchange fees paid by merchants in connection with branded credit and debit card transactions, in violation of Federal and state antitrust laws.
Serving as national coordinating and trial counsel for a medical device manufacturer in nationwide product liability litigation relating to injuries allegedly caused by the company’s female pelvic mesh devices.
