King & Spalding—along with Deloitte and Niederer Kraft & Frey, a Swiss law firm—will host a roundtable discussion in Basel, Switzerland about effective ways to approach issues relating to the life sciences product innovation life cycle. The event has limited capacity, with the aim of creating an intimate setting for attendees to ask questions and exchange ideas. We hope for a robust dialogue both during the formal roundtable and afterwards during the cocktail hour.
Each firm will present a case study that focuses on a particular type of challenge. King & Spalding will focus on cross-border investigations—initiated either by enforcement authorities or internally within organizations—that touch on the U.S., Switzerland, and other European jurisdictions. Our panel will highlight procedural considerations to remember when managing a cross-border investigation
Our panel will feature Ulf Grundmann , a partner in our Life Science Practice Group in Germany whose practice concentrates heavily on medical devices and pharmaceuticals, partner Grant Nichols and senior associate Kyle Sheahen, both of whom have significant experience in handling cross-border investigations involving the U.S. and Switzerland.
