backATLANTA, June 7, 2023 — Leadership Atlanta has selected King & Spalding partner Thad Wilson for its Leadership Atlanta Class and associate Jacqueline Van De Velde for its LEAD class. The Leadership Atlanta program is a nine-month, executive-level series. LEAD Atlanta equips young leaders early in their careers with the skills and knowledge needed to be an effective leader committed to the common good, according to Leadership Atlanta.
Wilson represents financial institutions, companies, directors and officers, and other parties in stressed and distressed situations and related litigation, including in Chapter 11 bankruptcies, out-of-court restructurings, foreclosures, assignments for the benefit of creditors, and other corporate and insolvency matters.
Van De Velde is an associate in the firm’s Special Matters and Government Investigations team. She represents clients in high-stakes government investigations conducted by the Department of Justice, congressional committees, and other federal and state regulators, with a focus on cross-border and national security issues.
