backNEW YORK, Oct. 2, 2023 – Law360 has named partners Mike Stenglein and Reggie Smith to its list of 2023 MVPs. The list recognizes lawyers who “have distinguished themselves from their peers by securing hard-earned successes in high-stakes litigation, complex global matters and record-breaking deals,” according to the publication.
Stenglein, recognized as a Construction MVP, specializes in resolving complex business disputes and splits his time between Texas and New York. He was formerly head of the firm’s Contracts and Business Torts group and now chairs the firm’s Global Construction and Engineering Disputes practice.
Smith, recognized as an Energy MVP, is based in the firm’s Houston office where he focuses on international arbitration and cross-border litigation, with a particular specialty in handling commercial disputes in the energy sector as well as representing investors in disputes with sovereigns under multilateral and bilateral investment treaties. He has served as lead counsel in obtaining some of the largest international arbitration awards on record.
