PARIS, Mar. 30, 2023 — King & Spalding’s Paris office was honored with two Palmarès du Droit awards at its annual ceremony.
The firm won the silver trophy for its non-profit organizations work primarily led by partner Jean Tamalet and associate Elisabeth Ouart for client Sea Shepherd. It was also awarded a bronze trophy for its work in project finance. The group is led by partners Mehdi Haroun, Fernand Arsanios, counsel Nora Djeraba, associates Mohamed Badji and Guillaume Chaboureau.
Organized in partnership with the French Association of Corporate Lawyers (AFJE), the Palmarès du Droit awards are based on “online surveys of 8,000 lawyers and 7,500 business leaders, who were asked to comment on their advice according to specific criteria,” according to the organization.
King & Spalding’s Paris office, which was established in 2009, advises both French and global companies on a wide range of significant legal issues within the transactional, regulatory and disputes areas.
