backHOUSTON, September 10, 2024 – King & Spalding announced today that energy transactional lawyer Drew Baldinger has joined the firm as a partner in its Corporate practice group and Energy industry team. Baldinger is based in the firm’s Houston office.
Baldinger represents energy companies, private equity sponsors and strategic investors in M&A and joint venture transactions in the upstream, midstream, downstream, renewable and transitional energy sectors. He has extensive experience advising clients on offtake, gas supply, transportation and other key contracts in the oil and gas sector and also advises project developers, private equity firms and portfolio companies on M&A, financing and project development matters relating to conventional and renewable energy technologies, including gas-to-liquids, solar, wind and geothermal generation projects.

Baldinger joins King & Spalding from Skadden, where he was a partner. He received his B.A. from the University of Texas and his J.D. from University of Texas School of Law.
