Carson W. Bennett will speak on a panel titled “The Importance of Written Advocacy in International Arbitration” at the Atlanta International Arbitration Society’s 13th Annual Conference. The panel is organized in collaboration with the ICC Young Arbitration & ADR Forum.
The panel will provide practical instruction on effective written advocacy in international arbitration proceedings. The panel will also cover topics including the nuts-and-bolts of legal writing, the different submission types in arbitration proceedings, writing for a multicultural audience, and the differences between writing for a court and writing for an arbitral tribunal.
Carson will speak alongside Abbey Pellino Hawthorne (ICC), Tom Villalón (Three Crowns LLP), and Angélica María Perdomo Luna (Zulegal). The panel will be moderated by Wheaton Webb (Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP).
The panel will take place on Monday, 7 October 2024 from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm ET at McGuireWoods LLP, Atlanta.
