New York, October 28, 2024 - King & Spalding announced today that antitrust litigator Ross Elfand has joined the firm as a partner in its Business Litigation practice group. Elfand is based in the firm’s New York office.
Elfand is a veteran antitrust litigator who has served as lead or co-lead counsel in many high-profile antitrust matters on behalf of leading pharmaceutical and technology companies. He has particular experience handling claims involving the interplay between intellectual property and antitrust laws, as well as representing and advising clients regarding complex issues arising at the intersection of global privacy and competition laws. He regularly represents companies before antitrust and competition enforcement agencies in the U.S. and around the world. He also has deep experience handling large-scale, complex and high-risk multi-district cartel and monopolization cases in courts throughout the U.S.
“Ross is a versatile and accomplished antitrust litigator who will help strengthen our antitrust capabilities across the board,” said Damien Marshall, co-leader of the firm’s Business Litigation practice group. “Ross has the experience and drive necessary as we continue to attract and handle more and more complex antitrust matters, particularly in the pharmaceutical and technology sectors.”
Elfand joins King & Spalding from White & Case, where he was a partner. He received his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his B.A. from Emory University.
“King & Spalding has a dynamic and growth-focused antitrust team handling highly complex and important antitrust litigation, and I am excited to be part of it,” said Elfand. “The opportunity to grow my practice and my client relationships here in collaboration with this group is one I couldn’t pass up.”
