On August 16, 2022, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the grant of summary judgment in favor of K&S client Walmart in a case brought by the EEOC under the Pregnancy Discrimination Act (as well as the imposition of discovery sanctions against the EEOC, including the dismissal of some individual claimants based on the EEOC's discovery misconduct). This decision is a significant one--it's only the third appellate decision dealing with the PDA after the Supreme Court's decision in Young v. UPS and the first in the Seventh Circuit.
