Peyton McCardwell is an Associate in King & Spalding's Special Matters & Government Investigations group.  His practice focuses on government investigations, white-collar criminal defense, and internal investigations.

Peyton is an Indiana native and earned his JD from Georgetown University Law Center.  He interned with the Securities and Exchange Commission Division of Enforcement and served as Senior Symposium Editor of the Georgetown Journal of National Security Law & Policy.  He is a Certified Public Accountant and previously worked as an Audit Associate at EY global accounting firm.  He also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on immigration justice for Afghan asylum seekers and refugees.
