Negassi Tesfamichael is an associate in King & Spalding's Washington, D.C. office and a member of the firm's Trial & Global Disputes practice. 

Before joining King & Spalding, Negassi completed internships at National Public Radio and the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press. He also served as a judicial intern for the Hon. Matthew F. Kennelly at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Negassi received his J.D. from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, where he was the Online Managing Editor of the Northwestern University Law Review. He also participated in the Roderick and Solange MacArthur Justice Center Civil Rights Litigation Clinic. Negassi also holds a B.A. in English and Political Science with Comprehensive Honors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
