Michelle Huntsman is a senior associate in King & Spalding’s Houston Healthcare practice. Michelle’s practice focuses on the representation of healthcare industry clients in mergers and acquisitions and other transactional matters. Through her work on numerous health care transactions, she has significant experience in healthcare due diligence and regulatory and reimbursement implications of changes of ownership. She also advises healthcare providers regarding Medicare and Medicaid issues, licensing requirements, and federal and state regulatory matters, including Civil Monetary Penalty investigations, Medicare and Medicaid self-disclosures; and compliance with the 60-day overpayment rule.
