Associate
As an experienced employment lawyer, Jalise works with companies to address the aspects of their businesses that involve their workforces. Jalise expertly counsels companies and resolves complaints on issues including discrimination and harassment, breach of contract, whistleblower retaliation, reasonable accommodations, wage and hour matters, mass layoffs, paid and unpaid leave, and workplace safety. Jalise conducts investigations and is skilled at resolving employment issues through litigation and arbitration, including class and collective actions.
Jalise clerked for the Honorable Ronald L. Ellis, U.S. Magistrate Judge, of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Jalise was a member of the 2021 Pathfinder class of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) and served as a 2014-2016 Equal Justice Works Fellow.
