Carla Apelroit-Jehan is an associate in the Special Matters and Government Investigations practice in King & Spalding's New York office. She is a dual-qualified attorney in New York and in France. Her practice focuses on white collar criminal defense, internal and government investigations, and corporate compliance. Carla represents American and international clients facing domestic and cross-border investigations by various government entities, including DOJ, SEC, OFAC, PCAOB, and international regulators/enforcement authorities.
Carla earned her law degree (magna cum laude) from Université Paris I - Panthéon Sorbonne in Paris and received her Master of Laws (with honors) from Georgetown University. Before joining the firm in 2022, she worked for other international law firms as part of her training and completed an Externship program at the Federal Public Defender's Office for D.C., where she represented indigent clients facing federal criminal charges.
