Caio Lucas is an Associate in the Energy and Infrastructure Projects practice groups and is based in King & Spalding’s Abu Dhabi offices. He advises sponsors, contractors and government entities across projects including, oil and gas, renewables, logistics, hospitality and industrial developments. He also has experience in the management of claims and disputes involving construction and project development transactions.
Caio has been recognized as a Future Leader in Construction by Who’s Who Legal since 2019 and, before joining King & Spalding, has advised clients in some of the leading infrastructure projects in Latin America.
Caio received his LLM in International Economic Law, Business and Policy from Stanford University. He is fluent in Portuguese, English and German.

Acciona in the drafting and negotiation of the contracts for the development of São Paulo’s Subway Line 6.
Gás Natural Açu in the drafting and negotiation of the contracts for the development and operation of the Thermoelectric Power Plants of UTE GNA I with over 1.5GW of installed capacity, including gas supply, EPCs, long-term maintenance and operation agreements.
Statkraft in the drafting and negotiation for the supply and maintenance contracts of wind turbines for the Wind Power Complex of Ventos de Santa Eugenia and Brotas de Macaubas, totalling over 600MW of installed capacity.
