Brian Priestley is an associate based in Los Angeles and is a member of King & Spalding’s Tort and Environmental Litigation Practice Group. He represents Fortune 100 and other large companies in a wide range of complex litigation matters, including pharmaceutical and other products liability, professional negligence, toxic tort, and commercial cases. Mr. Priestley has experience in many aspects of litigation, including initial case analysis and assessment, developing case strategy, drafting responsive pleadings, preparing and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and drafting dispositive pre-trial and trial motions.
Mr. Priestley earned his Juris Doctor degree from the UCLA School of Law in 2014 and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Menlo College in 2010, where he graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, Mr. Priestley served as Chief Submissions Editor for the Entertainment Law Review.

Member of the King & Spalding team that is conducting an internal investigation of and defending a sports car manufacturer from allegations that it knowingly installed undisclosed auxiliary emission control devices in some of their vehicles. Mr. Priestley is involved in many aspects of this internal investigation, including extensive analysis of key employee interviews, assisting the team analyze and prepare responses to requests for information from various entities—including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, California Air Resources Board, New York and other Attorneys General, and consumer action plaintiffs—and working closely with senior team members to prepare a defense.
