Special Matters and Government Investigations Associate

Type of experience: King & Spalding seeks a skilled junior level associate for its Special Matters and Government Investigations practice in Singapore. Our global team represents clients across industries in high-profile government investigations and complex white-collar criminal defense matters, business-related criminal matters, and cross-border investigations, including anti-bribery and corruption, anti-money laundering, international sanctions, cyber-crime and fraud. In addition to excellent writing, research, analytical and communication skills, qualified candidates must have superior academic credentials, demonstrated client management skills, and significant experience working with the investigations team of a top tier U.S. or U.K. magic circle law firm.
Ideal candidates will be U.S. qualified and will be fluent in Mandarin.
Successful candidates for this role will have investigations, disputes, and compliance diligence experience working in an international law firm, with a leaning towards fraud and corruption investigations experience.
This role will be based in our Singapore office.

Antitrust
# of positions: 1 | Years of Experience: 4-6
Locations: Washington, D.C.
Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks a highly skilled associate with 4-6 years of experience for its award-winning antitrust practice in Washington, D.C. The selected candidate will work in a close-knit team setting and have an opportunity to handle significant responsibility on a wide variety of antitrust matters, including mergers, government investigations, litigation, and counseling. Qualified candidates will have demonstrable proficiency in antitrust, shown through prior matters, ABA Antitrust Law Section activity, law school coursework, or pre-law employment. Candidates must have strong academic credentials, and excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills. Prior government experience is preferred, but not required.

Environmental, Health, and Safety

Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks an associate with 2-4 years of experience for its Environmental Health & Safety practice in one of the firm’s U.S. offices, including Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, or Washington, D.C. Qualified candidates should have experience with or interest in a broad range of environmental issues, including environmental enforcement and compliance matters, environmental litigation, and due diligence. Local bar admission is required, in addition to superior academic credentials and excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.
