backHouston Corporate partner Trevor Pinkerton will moderate a panel at the Reuters Energy Transition 2024 conference on June 26 in New York City. Trevor will speak on "The Great Minerals Rush" where the panel discussion will focus on the surge for critical minerals as global electrification demand amplifies and the risks associated to these scarce natural resources coupled and limited number of global suppliers.
Trevor’s panelists include J. Kent Masters, CEO at Albemarle; Emily Hersh, CEO at Luna Lithium; Chris Doornbos, CEO at E3 Lithium; and Harvinder Bhabra, Global Product Manager at ITT.
The panelists will (i) investigate partnerships in the critical minerals value chain and explore supply chain strategies to support a clean energy transition; (ii) analyze supply resilience through additional investment in alternative mining resources and battery recycling; and (iii) discuss emerging technologies and international collaboration in the energy transition.
