RealNetworks Closes Acquisition of Company by CEO Rob Glaser

King & Spalding advised the special committee of the board of directors of RealNetworks, Inc., in a take-private transaction by its founder, chairman and CEO, Robert Glaser. The transaction was the result of an unsolicited take-private proposal from Mr. Glaser in early May 2022.

The K&S team included Tim FitzSimons, Rob Leclerc, Richard Marooney, Brett Schroeder, Ken Fowler, Matt Dixon and Philip Rizk.
